This Snow Goose parka entered service in 1999. The reflector shows some wear on it. The parka is moderately faded, and has some small sharpie marks on the front and sleeve. There is one repair on the back.
Did you know that each Big Red used by the USAP program has a serial number written on the inside flap of one of the pockets? This serial number, used to help the program keep track of their gear, usually includes the parka size and the year it entered service.
