This vintage Snow Goose parka entered service in 1998. There is a very small hole in the parka’s inside lining, and the sleeves show some evidence of minor repairs. The parka shows mild staining down the front and is mildly faded.
The refurbishment of this parka includes (but is not limited to):
- Removal & repair of field patches
- Seam repair
- Cuff Repair
- Zipper repair
- Hood wire replacement
Did you know that each Big Red used by the USAP program has a serial number written on the inside flap of one of the pockets? This serial number, used to help the program keep track of their gear, usually includes the parka size and the year it entered service.
