This vintage Snow Goose parka entered service in 1999. This parka shows a few visible repairs as well as a small stain.
The refurbishment of this parka includes (but is not limited to):
- Rip repair
- Down replacement
- Hood wire replacement
Did you know that each Big Red used by the USAP program has a serial number written on the inside flap of one of the pockets? This serial number, used to help the program keep track of their gear, usually includes the parka size and the year it entered service.
