This Snow Goose parka entered service in 1996. There are two small repairs visible on the back of the parka and one on the front, by the zipper. The parka is mildly stained throughout, with one small, darker stain on one arm.
Did you know that each Big Red used by the USAP program has a serial number written on the inside flap of one of the pockets? This serial number, used to help the program keep track of their gear, usually includes the parka size and the year it entered service.
